The BoatHouse Paddle Club will continue wellness classes for girls, from elementary age to middle school, starting in January 2018. The program is aptly named Girls Sweat 30A. Girls Sweat 30A is a six-week program for two different age groups, one day each week. The classes will be segmented by grade level. There will be an elementary session, and a middle school session. The classes begin at 3:45 and will be approximately one hour long. Classes will introduce a variety of fitness activities respective to participants. The six-week program will help develop a positive attitude toward fitness and confidence.
The sessions will start January 8th and end February 14th.
“We were over the moon excited about our inaugural sessions this year. We hope to grow our program exponentially in 2018,” says program director, Dru Sandy. Girls are the focus for this program because we want to empower girls at an early age. We want to help girls establish lifelong positive-attitudes for fitness through our fun programs.”
Girls Sweat 30A for elementary age girls will be on Mondays, January 8th – February 12th.
Girls Sweat 30A for middle school age girls will be Wednesdays, January 10th – February 14th.
The program is $90 for the full six-weeks. While the program director encourages six-week participation- fostering greater impact for attendees – you may choose a $20 drop-in option.
